It has been painted to a very high standard. The level of detail is sublime. It has also been signed by the artist too - signature is shown in the 5th photo. The four sides of the box have been hand chased magnificently with beautiful floral motifs repeating all around. It has been tested and is guaranteed to be high grade solid silver. There is a maker's hallmark (Bagher Parvaresh) as well as "84" for the purity mark, shown in the last photo. Bagher Parvaresh was a very famous and well known silversmith in his time. The length of the box is 14.2cm. The width of the box is 8cm. The height of the box is 3.2cm. The box weighs 347.3 grams. The box is in excellent condition. Please see all photos abov.
