Syrian carved and mother-of-pearl inlaid dresser, c. The piece is carved out of solid walnut, and is a rare serpentine form. Height 31 1/2 x width 27 1/2 x depth 17 3/4 inches. The chest is in excellent condition, free of cracks, warping, or other concerns with the exception of a few restored pieces of lost inlay.
