Fine Arabic Islamic Saudi Jambia Dagger Knife Silver, Gold With Silver Belt 1930

FINE ARABIC ISLAMIC SAUDI JAMBIA DAGGER KNIFE SILVER, GOLD WITH SILVER BELT 1930. Finely crafted, old Arabic peninsula, Islamic Jambia dagger - circa 1930.

The handle is made of light-colored horn or another material, possibly man-made with a small crack. The leather belt is finely inset with numerous silver plaques and a few silver buttons - inside padded with green felt. The sheath with superb & intricate silver & gold wire-work - also silver and gold foil nicely chased with matching foil on the dagger itself. The blade with a central ridge for strength. Excellent condition for the age except the crack mentioned on the tip of handle. It measures overall 25 cm long x 14 cm wide - the belt is 75 cm long - blade only is 13 cm long.
