For sale this is this magnificent antique Persian solid silver tray. It has a wonderful floral shape and is mounted on three round legs to the base. The tray has been hand chased by a very famous maker called "MARTIN". The tray has been adorned with very fine floral motifs, chased by hand to the finest standard. The work has been finished very cleanly and crisply with the highest attention to detail. It has been tested and is guaranteed high grade solid silver. It is also signed to be base by MARTIN and also with the 84 hallmark representing the purity of 875 grade introduced into Persia in the first half of the 1900's by the Russians/Soviets. The diameter of the tray is 29.6cm. The tray weighs a very impressive 669.1 grams. It is in excellent condition. Please see all photos abov.
