SO PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PHOTOS - MANY THANKS. For sale we have this very fine and rare antique Indian brass tray. This large tray has been beatifully hand chased with stunning scenes.

I have been told the scene is depicting an old Indian folk tale. Dramatic scenes of soldiers readying for battle, beautifully completed with stunning detail. A scene in the top left corner portrays a figure climbing an elephant and beheading a commander or ruler of some sort. A beautiful repeating floral design has been chased all the way around the tray near the edge. There are a lot of commercial Indian brassware available, but this is the finest Indian Tray I have come across. The size of the tray is 68.6. Cm X 50.6cm = 27 inches X 19.9 inches. The tray is in excellent condition. Please see the photos shown above.
