Finest Quality Antique Islamic Mamluk Damascus Persian Silver Inlaid Brass Basin

Dates from early 1900's, around 1930's. There beautiful thick silver inlaid calligraphic Arabic script to the front side of the box.

The two smaller sides and the back have been inlaid with geometric designs. The lid has been inlaid with arabesque motifs along with charming birds all around the edges. Overall it is a beautiful box.

The length of the box 20.2cm = 8 inches. The width of the box is 6cm = 2.4 inches. The height of the box is 6.4cm = 2.5 inches. The box is in very good condition. The locking mechanism works perfectly too. Please see the photos shown above.
