Indo Persian khanda hilted talwar with a kilij shape blade - India 19th century. It is a very impressive sword with huge dimensions. The hilt has the traditional khanda shape. The blade is vey flexible and has a false edged at the tip in the kilij shape (but not very pronounced). The grip and the inside of the basket hilt should have been covered with velvet fabric but it is missing.
The blade is slightly bent (see the last picture). Strong and solid, no movement. Total length 109cm (43 inches). Blade length 88,5cm (34 3/4 inches).
