Islamic Tuareg takuba sword (sabre) - North Africa, Mid 20th. Grip and guard are made of iron covered with decorated leather (the leather on the grip is missing - see pictures 8 and 9). Scabbard is made of strong decorated leather with 2 brass fittings. The blade has a slight movement.

The leather on the grip is missing (see pictures 8 and 9). Length 94,5cm (37 1/4 in).
