Late Or Post Medieval Brass Hebrew Star Of David Seal Jewish Stamp Artifact

For sale is this incredible late or post medieval seal with the Star of David surrounded by a decorative design. This seal is ornate with a wide base, decorative handle, and bail so that it could be worn on a string or necklace. It is composed of a copper based metal, such as brass or bronze. The sides of the base are slightly curled up, making the stamping surface not completely flat. This makes me believe it isn't as likely that this was used for stamping ink, but more likely for stamping hot wax or wet clay (this is my personal opinion after studying it, and not its guaranteed use). The metal has light consistent oxidation, and appears to have been cleaned at some point in its past (for the lack of much green oxidation) - possibly cleaned upon finding/cataloging or in research. Middle Eastern collection of art, antiques, and cultural collectibles; collected in the mid 20th century from a antiques and art dealer.

This is not guaranteed though, and is just an estimate based off of comparing it to other similar pieces. I have this piece value priced compared to these prices.
