MAGNIFICENT LARGE ANTIQUE ARABIC ISLAMIC ENGRAVED EWER PITCHER & BASIN SET. Please scroll down the listing to see all the photographs. The ewer measures approx 15 1/2 inches (395mm) tall, by 9 1/2 inches (240mm) from handle to spout. Mm in diameter, by 5. Both made from solid brass.

And are heavily decorated with intricate hand chased, engraved designs. The basin has a pierced edge border, and the ewer has a beautiful, zoomorphic handle, with animals head terminals at both the top and bottom. This beautiful set is in good antique condition with light wear, consistent with its age. There is a dent in the body of the ewer (see photos) but no other damage. The brassware has developed a dark patina with age, it would lok stunning if it were polished up to a bright finish, but this is a choice I leave to you.

This is a very fine example of its type and it would make a beutiful display piece and be a great addition to any collection. Please see the photos for condition and type.
