Moroccan nimcha sword with Passau wolf mark and beautiful handle 18th 19th

Moroccan nimcha sword with Passau wolf mark and beautiful handle - 18th 19th. Single edged curved blade with a Passau wolf etched both sides. The blade is very probably an European imported one. However the Passau wolf mark looks like a localy etched mark (a lot of Moroccan furbishers used to etch their blades with European marks, it was a mark of quality). The blade was anciently remounted on the handle (see picture 12). It was probably on during the 19th century. Scabbard is made of wood covered with leather. The leather of the scabbard has some small dammages (especially the tip, see picture 11).

Length with scabbard 91cm (35 3/4). Length without scabbard 86,5cm (34). Blade length 70,5cm (27 3/4).

Weight with scabbard 1052gr (37,1oz). Weight without scabbard 831gr (29,3oz).
