Museum Worthy Antique Persian Qajar Islamic Gold Silver Inlaid Steel Tray C1800s

DUE TO THE LARGE SIZE OF THE TRAY, IT HAS TO BE SENT WITH A COURIER. For sale is this magnificent antique Persian steel tray. The tray dates from early 1800's during the Qajar era. It has been magnificently etched with beautiful scenes of Persian Kings and Queens and further hand chased details have been added.

It has also been inlaid with gold. There is beautiful calligraphy all around the rim of the tray which has also been inlaid with silver for further detail. Steel trays like this are very rare.

During the Qajar era, most trays were either copper or brass, so finding a tray like this, of such remarkable high quality is very rare. This is genuinely a Musuem Worthy item!

The diameter of the tray is 44cm. It is in very good condition. Some wear to the gold and silver inlay.

However no damage structurally to the tray. So no dents or cracks or anything.

Overall excellent condition for its age. Please see all photos abov. Sometimes certain items will not be packed together if one of them is very fragile.
