Nice Old Antique Arab Dharia Jambiya Dagger from Hijaz / sword shamshir tulwar. Here is a classic Arab elongated jambiya, or dharia , dagger from the Hijaz region of Arabia. Sometimes these are referred to as Wahabbi or Wahabite forms of the jambiya.

This one dates to the first half of the 20th century and is of excellent quality throughout, and is complete with its entire belt. Overall, with a blade of just over 17in.

The better than usual quality blade is nicely double fullered and very clean and well maintained. The hilt is of silver with silver rivet covers that attach to a brass reinforcement in the back. The scabbard is of worked silver and brass in typical Arab form and as a wooden core. There is a period repair to the the scabbard's bottom tip.

The leather (real)silver studded belt is complete and in excellent condition. This a lovely example of an Arab dharia dagger of excellent quality. THANKS for having a look at this item!
