Up for sale very fantastic, rare & collectibles mughal Indo-Persian rajput Sikh Maratha sword late mughal era northern India sword form Rajasthan area. The blade has old hard steel. Blade is in original condition with pitting & patina probably a high quality fighting blade dating from the nineteenth century. Single edge blade, and little rust can been seen on blade or sword hilt.
Sword handle has fine silver mughal koftgari work. Back side has sun-rise flower design. The work almost alive on it. Cover made from wood and red velvet. The grip would comfortably fit a full, but smaller hand than today's average hand size.A very good piece for beginner's collection.
