An Original Antique Persian/ Islamic Art, Qajar Period Hammer Engraved Large Brass Tray with very lovely details about the story of Layla and Majnun. This tray is fully handmade and decorated with hammer engraving Persian/ Qajar style portraits, poems, animals, flowers. Subjects: The story of Layla and Majnun, poems about love between Layla & Majnun, a king and war, people, school, religion... It is a great example of Islamic/ Persian Metalwork Art and also, Persian Miniature Art. Age: Original antique and from Qajar period. Back of the tray is very darkness and it looks like very old.

Also, the design is fully Qajar style. Measures: 67.5cm = 26.4 in diameter. Unpacked weight: approx 4.030 kg and it's quite large and heavy. Condition: Good for it's age with no any crack around rim, as seen in images.
