Ottoman Silver Pencase Inkwell Turkish Divit Middle Eastern Islamic Qalamdan Box

RARE AND FINEST MUSEUM QUALITY ANTIQUE 18th-19th CENTURY TURKISH OTTOMAN DIVIT INKWELL TRAVEL CASE PEN HOLDER. Solid silver with gilt embellishments. The inkwell edges and bottom, and both ends are intricately engraved and fire-gilded in typical Ottoman fashion.

Feels heavy at 460 gr (16.22 oz). It is 30 cm (11.75) long. Marked in two places with "GN" mark. I believe these are Armenian maker's initials as they're in Classical Latin.

Similar are shown in Garo Kurkman "Ottoman Silver Marks" book. In excellent original condition, with some minor dings, a few slight dents and scratches on front side and the top.
