We are offering a Khanjar, believed to be Persian from the Qajar era. Blade - high contrasting wootz, curved with a strong central rib.
Base depicts a scene of a Lion? The tip has aslightly reinforced piercing point. Has some dark spots and rust. Did not clean it much to preserve the original finish. Has dried up grey colored adhesive. Hilt / handle - Human figures carved on both sides, not sure what animal is carved on the top. Cracked and broken, previous owner glued back together. Fortunately most of the parts are present, very minimal loss. Scabbard - wooden core and metal chape is what remains.
