Persian Qajar Candlestick, Islamic Art, Ottoman

This beautiful Qajar candlestick is. Quite unique and from the. It is rare seen in this size, it's made of brass. There are 17 medallions on the neck part and 10 medallions on the foot part of the candlestick.

Normally they show dancing or wine drinking couples, but on this piece there are mythological and shamanistic figures. Which is rare seen in Persia, especially on the Qajar period. The carvings are very fine hand made. There is a damage on the foot part which can be seen on the pictures. Please visit my other auctions.
