Artist has captured the exotic opulence of the harem interior: the rich, sensual patterns of the textiles, carpets and garments, the coquettishness of the "Sultan's Favorite" as she primps and gazes into the mirror held by the female servant.
The artist transports the viewer to the depths of another world. Retains original inner gold frame/liner. Professionally framed with outer frame and UV protection in 2002. Measurements (approximate): The outer frame measures 29" X 24 7/8".
