There is presentation inscription to triangular shaped cartouchePRESENTED TO J. E COMBER TO ESQ" & top of the pedestal foot "WITH BEST WISHES FROM THE STAFF OF R. Not sure of its age but engraved 1946 when it was presented, although it could be an earlier piece. Tested as high grade silver. Marked on the pedestal foot'SILVER.
