Very nice large example of the Arabic Wahabitte Jambiya dagger or rather a short sword, dating from around mid to late 1800s, wearing an impressive broad double edged blade which retains deadly edges and vicious tip, exhibiting very nice light patina throughout with engraved decorations to both sides.

Lower grade silver mounts with leather belt and straps, the grip is either of hard wood or some sort of cattle horn mounted in silver as well. Solid and intact overall, a very impressive and deadly weapon. Blade 16 3/4" and 2 5/8" wide at ricasso. The item "Very Good 19th C.
