This work, in which the lion, sun and zulfikar, which are classics of Persian art, are used extensively in the descriptions, is produced by hand-processing from a single piece of iron. There is a lion with a sword on the right and left of the main mechanism of the lock, and it is the symbol of power and Persian mythology. Zlfikar is on the lock mechanism and the Persian dome structure is visible on the upper part. The lock is a work of art. It is a 19th century building technique. It is thought to have been made in the same year. This work, measuring 26X26, has undergone slight corrosion. It is in excellent condition in terms of its general nature. The lion and the sun are one of the national symbols of Iran and used to be an element of the Iranian flag. The motif depicting ancient and modern Iranian traditions became a popular symbol in Iran in the 12th century. The Leo and Sun symbol is largely based on astronomical and astrological configurations. The motif has many historical meanings. First, it was just an astrological and zodiac symbol, as a scientific and secular motif. During the Safavid and early Qajar shahs, it was more connected with Shia Islam. During the Qajar era, it became a national emblem.

From the Qajar period to the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the emblem changed many times, and after the revolution it was removed and replaced with today's coat of arms. For 20 years, we have been supplying valuable and respected collectors in the fields of collections and antiques.
