Vintage Japanese 950 Silver, 24^ gold inlay Finally Etched Bracelet 7 1/4 50g

Stunning Vintage Japanese Amita silver damascene nine panel bracelet. 7 1/4" long and 1" wide.

This ancient technique was done by highly skilled engravers using precious metals such as 950 silver, (which was there standard in Japan), and 18 - 24 karat gold inlay on black oxidized backgrounds, to create beautiful high-quality designs. There are several different designs and qualities of this type of work, however if you look closely, you will find this bracelet is one of the finer ones This bracelet features nine rectangular panels each showcasing an elaborate design include birds, flowers, pagodas, Mount Fuji, and cherry blossom trees with the addition of hori carved designs on the backs.
