Vtg Antique Middle Eastern Palestine Bedouin Heavy Silver Mixed Metal BRACELET
Up for your consideration is a Vintage / Antique Middle Eastern / Bedouin Silver bracelet. There appears to be a stamped STAR mark on the back where the pin goes through. I have seen similar bracelets to this and they were identified as a "aswareh habbityat" link bracelet from Nablus. They were worn by villagers in the central hills of Palestine and usually worn in pairs. This bracelet is substantial weighing 192 grams or 6 3/4 ounce.
It is wide measuring 2 1/8 and. Has about a 6 3/4 circumference or length. This ethnic bracelet is ready to wear. It is in great used condition. There looks like a small piece of a link on the backside, at the end is missing.
This does not affect the integrity of the piece. It is solid and intact. It also is in its original state and was not cleaned.
